Project description

Support for the steering of the justice reform in Tunisia

The Justice Reform Support Programme Management Unit (UGPARJ) engaged ArkoConsulting to strengthen its strategic steering and monitoring & evaluation capacities within the framework of PARJ II, funded by the European Commission.

The Justice Reform Support Programme II (PARJ II), funded by the European Commission, supported Tunisia in consolidating the gains of the democratic transition in the justice sector. The programme aimed to strengthen the independence and efficiency of the Tunisian judicial system, improve citizens' access to justice, and modernize sector management practices. The UGPARJ, the dedicated management unit, oversaw the coordination and monitoring of all programme components.

ArkoConsulting provided targeted expertise in monitoring & evaluation to strengthen the UGPARJ’s strategic steering capacities. The mission focused on assisting the management unit in structuring its programme monitoring tools, enhancing its reporting practices, and consolidating its results evaluation framework.

The support provided helped strengthen the UGPARJ’s ability to steer the programme based on results indicators and to document the progress of the judicial reform for the European Commission.
