A digital platform for monitoring public finance reforms in Central Africa
The World Bank entrusted ArkoConsulting with the design and development of the web platform for the CEMAC Public Finance Management Reform Program (PRGFP-CEMAC), covering the six member states of the region: Cameroon, Chad, the Central African Republic, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon.
The PRGFP-CEMAC aims to harmonize public finance management frameworks within the Central African economic zone, where the diversity of national systems—from French-speaking Cameroon to Spanish-speaking Equatorial Guinea—poses a major challenge to reform convergence.
The web platform was designed to meet a dual need: to track reform indicators by country and facilitate dialogue between national administrations and regional coordination.
ArkoConsulting designed and developed the platform in one month (June 2022) with a team of three: a web designer, a PHP developer, and a project manager. The architecture includes eight functional modules—an institutional homepage, program presentation, interactive country mapping, discussion forum, multimedia gallery, news, document space, and a reform indicator dashboard.
The platform serves as the monitoring and communication tool for the PRGFP-CEMAC for national administrations and technical and financial partners.
