To support Plan International in Senegal in a governance project funded by AFD Plan International Senegal engaged ArkoConsulting as part of a project funded by the French Development Agency (AFD), focusing on strengthening governance dynamics and citizen participation in Senegal. Launched in 2025 and financed by AFD, the project aims to enhance local governance and citizen participation in Senegal, leveraging Plan International's expertise in supporting communities and civil society organizations. The intervention focuses on consolidating dialogue mechanisms between local authorities and populations, as well as strengthening the capacities of Senegalese civil society actors. ArkoConsulting was mobilized to provide expertise in participatory governance and support to civil society organizations during the project's initial phase. The first activities involve analyzing the local institutional context and identifying key stakeholders for project implementation. This project marks ArkoConsulting's first intervention in Senegal in partnership with Plan International and AFD.
